Pinchr is free and open source software published under the MIT License. It is developed and maintained by LaunchPad, LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
By using Pinchr, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.
Pinchr is licensed under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software, subject to the terms of the MIT License. The full license text is available in the LICENSE file on GitHub.
There is no payment, subscription, or account required to download, install, or use Pinchr.
Pinchr is a desktop AI assistant. It runs locally on your machine and connects to AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) using your own API keys. It can manage tasks, automate actions, interact via voice, and control your computer on your behalf.
Pinchr is powered by OpenClaw, an open-source AI agent framework. Understanding the security model is important — please read the next section.

Pinchr gives AI agents real capabilities on your computer — including the ability to run commands, access files, and interact with services. This is powerful, and you should understand the risks.

Don't use Pinchr for anything illegal, harmful, or malicious. Don't use it to harass people, generate harmful content, or gain unauthorized access to systems. That's it — use common sense.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
This includes (but isn't limited to) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI is probabilistic — it makes mistakes. We don't guarantee that Pinchr will work perfectly, be error-free, or be suitable for any particular use case.
Do not use Pinchr for high-risk activities where AI errors could cause serious harm.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LaunchPad, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Pinchr. This includes damages from AI errors, AI agent actions, or AI-generated content. Our total liability is limited to $100.
Pinchr connects to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) using your API keys. Your interactions with those providers are governed by their terms of service and privacy policies, not ours. We have no control over how they handle your data.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Charleston County, South Carolina.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use of Pinchr after changes means you accept them.
